Native Americans in Philanthropy 2024 Annual Conference: COVID Policy

The Native Americans in Philanthropy 2024 Annual Conference will follow best practices, protocols, and/or legal mandates set forth by the venue, Hennepin County, the state of Minnesota, and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) at the time of the conference.

To ensure that all registrants have the necessary information to assess and manage their own personal risk when attending an in-person event, we will keep registrants updated on any changes on this page and via email.

The current COVID-19 health and safety protocols for the 2024 Annual Conference are as follows and are subject to change:

  • Following the latest public health guidelines, the 2024 Annual Conference will support the wearing of masks but will not require them.
  • We encourage you to take the necessary steps to ensure your own wellness and health and to be considerate of all attendees.
  • A limited supply of personal protective equipment (including masks, COVID rapid tests, and sanitizer) will be available upon request.
  • If you feel unwell or test positive for COVID during the event, we advise that you take the necessary safety precautions to protect yourself and others.
  • If you test positive for COVID, we advise that you isolate in your hotel room and wear a mask in public spaces. You may stay in your hotel room but are responsible for your own meals and any hotel charges extending beyond the conference.

All registration fees for the 2024 Annual Conference are final and nonrefundable. Please ensure that before purchasing, you and/or your institution understand that registration for the Annual Conference is non-refundable.

The Native Americans in Philanthropy 2024 Annual Conference will offer a selection of virtual hybrid sessions and therefore, if you are no longer able to attend in person, you will still be able to participate in and/or access plenary sessions and select content. (Please note that the virtual content made available will not reflect the full agenda of scheduled offerings.)
